James Zitnik

I'm a student at Schoolcraft College. Currently enrolled in their Computer Graphic Technology program. I'm also a writer, entrepreneur, and part time tutor. I love education, and would stay in school the rest of my life if I could. However, my career goals are to pursue my bachelors degree in Simulation, Animation, and Game Development from Eastern Michigan to better prepare myself in order to start a design studio in the Detroit Metro Area. The reason I'd rather start a company here rather than more to a major city like New York, or out to California is because this my home. I would like to offer people like myself, who want to get into this field, a position close to home rather than having to move to another state, or major city. Taking them away from their family, and friends in their pursuit of a fulfilling career. We would cover all aspects of design. Software development, multimedia, sound design, commercial, video games, cinematic, the works.

I had a really hard time finding a job in my field while I was in school, and this is sort of what motivated me to create a job for myself, and for others doing things we are interested in. Luckily, I found a small team of students, and a few fresh graduates that were interested in the same idea as I was. So, we work together every day in hopes of building this company, and creating an environment that students, and professionals could come to work, learn, and grow.
