About
I teach at a Title I school in the neighborhood where I grew up, giving back to the community that shaped me. In addition to teaching, I serve as a union representative and sit on the bargaining committee, advocating for educators and students. I'm also actively involved in the Black Student Union, supporting student voice and empowerment all while being a full-time mom to an incredibly smart and inspiring son.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I’m interested in teaching a second or third grade self-contained class because I value the flexibility it offers. Having the ability to shape the classroom environment and pace helps me stay energized and engaged, allowing me to provide consistent, thoughtful support to my students without burning out.
