About
I'm a high school senior from Paetow High School, Katy ISD, interested in data science and psychology to deepen my understanding of how data can be used to help people and communities. Through my involvement in extracurriculars, tutoring, mental health awareness, and mentoring, I've learned the importance of connecting with my community. I'm working toward pursuing a degree in data science or a related field, where I can combine analytics with my desire to make a positive impact on others.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career goal is to pursue a degree in data science or statistics (and a minor in psychology), using data to better understand people, identify patterns, and solve problems that affect our daily lives. I hope to use mathematical, computational, and analytical skills to areas such as education, mental health, or developing a community development, where data can help inform decisions and improve people's lives. Ultimately, I want to combine my technical knowledge with my commitment to service to make a positive impact on society.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in potentially pursuing graduate studies in data sciences and combining it with an interest in psychology; I would like to explore how analyzing data can be applied to human development in all levels: individual, community, city, or beyond. In graduate school, I hope to gain an understanding of how the interpretation and application of data can reflect social issues and improve people's lives. Nonetheless, my specific graduate school plans will depend on how my interests develop during college.
- Outside the classroom
Outside the classroom, I enjoy oil painting, baking with friends, and finding ways to engage in the community to bring people together. I am actively involved in student organizations, where I organize tutoring opportunities, cultural activities, and mental health awareness initiatives. Through mentoring elementary students in PALs, peer tutoring my friends and classmates, and general volunteer work, I develop a strong understanding of the community and a heart to help others grow. These experiences simultaneously allow me to balance my academic interests with meaningful connections with others.
