My Grandmother, a Multi Chartiable Humanitarian, is peacefully at rest, after battling like a warrior until her last breath. As I watched her pass on 4/19, I could feel the pain in my heart, as she took her last breath, to rest with the lord. For over two decades, Parkinson's Disease occupied her Nervous System, affecting movement, balance, & cognition. PD has 4 different stages in which effect men & woman, differently, depending on diet, medication, treatment, & mental health. The 4th stage is when the simplest tasks such as; speaking, eating, or word comprehension, had become impossible. She was in constant state of pain, paranoia, while experiencing signs of dementia, and hallucinations. She was unable to correlate the difference between what is reality vs. visions, dreams, & or hallucinations. This is called the "Last 72 Hours". For my grandmother, the stubborn woman is was, it was 72 hours, 6 times. She was a fighter, & Heaven is blessed to have received my angel.
