About
I am Jessica Ashley. I'm 19 years old and am currently studying nursing at Madisonville Community College. I was a very lucky high school student. My school offered many dual credit classes and I was able to take them. By taking these classes I received many skills and even my CNA license as a junior in high school. Through taking these classes I realized my calling and what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing. I know it is not always the best and most pleasant job. I have worked at a nursing home and realize this but at the end of the day it is one of the most rewarding and pleasing jobs you can do. I currently work at a DME (durable medical equipment) provider. We carry everything from oxygen to compression socks. I love what I do there. I am also about to start my job as a CNA at a local hospital. I love what I do and cannot wait to become a nurse and continue doing what I love. As soon as I graduate nursing school I plan to continue pursing my dreams by furthering my education to eventually become a Nurse Practitioner. I love helping others and cannot wait for my future!

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently studying nursing at Madisonville Community College. After graduation I plan to go back and become a Nurse Practitioner, my dream job. I love working with people in general but my ultimate goal would be to work with children and babies full time.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to attend grad school to obtain my MSN and eventually become a Nurse Practitioner.
- Outside the classroom
My family lives on a farm. We do not own any livestock but have so much land we are considered a farm. I enjoy spending time outside taking hikes, enjoying the sunshine, or just spending time with my dogs. I also enjoy playing volleyball, I played for six years in high school and even made the All District Volleyball Team. I also enjoy shopping, running, and anything that has to do with nursing or animals.
