Phi Theta Kappa: Zeta Alpha Chapter
Within my first semester at Casper College, I was invited to join Phi Theta Kappa: Zeta Alpha Chapter which is an International Honor Society. It provides great opportunities for students, including community involvement and volunteer events.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
After graduating with my Bachelor's degree, I plan to begin teaching, hopefully somewhere around Wyoming. As I am teaching, I also hope to continue my education in this field and go on to get my Master's degree. At some point in my school and work career, I hope to get an endorsement in Special Education, as well.
- Graduate school interests
I will not be able to get my desired degree at Casper College, unfortunately. I am considering University of Wyoming, Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota, and Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. Once I finish my two years at Casper College, I will look at each school and determine which one aligns closest with my my existing education plan.
