Jonathan Elliott

My name is Jonathan Elliott. I am a student at UTD who recently transferred in the fall of 2015. I also work full time as a Grocery Manager at a health food store called Sprouts Farmers Market in McKinney. I have worked in the grocery industry for 8 years and have been a full time employee throughout the entirety of my collegiate academic career. Although work and school are significant parts of my life, I place the highest priority on my faith in Jesus Christ. This part of me permeates and ultimately guides how I approach all aspects of my life. In fact it was my faith that led me to take 2 months off from work this past summer to serve as an intern with a missional organization called Greater Europe Mission where I spent the summer serving with and learning from full time missionaries in Wales. It was again my faith that led me to take additional time off in November of 2015 where I spent a week serving with relief groups in an effort to aid refugees coming to the island of Lesvos in Greece. I also enjoy exercising at a local CrossFit affiliate and playing basketball at a local church weekly.
