Joshua Hamrick

My name is Joshua Hamrick and I am attending Grand Canyon University to become a physical therapist. I have had many experiences along the way that will help me to be successful in this career, showing my passion for people. I volunteer as a musician at my church every week. I am also a student leader for my church youth group where I have organized games and activities, as well as taught lessons. I show my passion by being committed and responsible, by being on time and ready for church band practice. Plus, showing the group how to grow and always wanting to learn more. I was involved in a mentoring group for elementary school kids called Little Warriors, where we would help teach the elementary students fun and exciting ways to learn more. I helped the kids feel at ease around me, while doing learning activities and helping them to learn more about themselves. I was in both AP and Honors classes at Westwood High School where I graduated with a scholastic diploma. These classes have helped prepare me for my first year at GCU to earn my degree in exercise science with an emphasis in physical therapy.
