About
My name is Josiah Perkins, and I am currently a sophomore at Wake Technical Community College located in Raleigh, NC. Come the end of 2023, I will have completed my two year Associates of the Arts Degree program. From there I plan to transfer to a four-year university for the purpose of studying marketing. I take immense pride in my work and am a firm believer that diligent, consistent effort wields desired results. Like anyone, I too am prone to fall victim to the weight of adversity from time to time. However, I trust that having a valued community around you prevents one from ever truly failing.

- Career goal
I have been an adamant admirer of the arts since I was a child. I fully intend to work in an artistic capacity as a full-time career. Crucial to success in any business capacity is the ability to properly market and highlight your strengths and talents. My education is an essential building block to laying the foundations for my career and personal aspirations.
- Outside the classroom
My passion is stand-up comedy and I make it a priority to consistently write and perform new material. I love the writing process as I find it to be very cathartic and personal for me. Additionally, I am an avid soccer fan. I played on my high school's varsity soccer team as goalkeeper for four years and I have since stayed active in the sport through playing pick up games on weekends. Listening to music and spending quality time with my family and friends are also pastimes I enjoy.
