Julian Arias

Hello! My name is Julian Dayana Arias, I mostly go by my middle name Dayana and I am 26 years old. I was born in Costa Rica but I grew up in Illinois. I graduated High School in Illinois and started my college studies at the local community college there. After my first semester, I moved to Las Vegas where I continued my studies part time until I recieved my Associates of Science from the College of Southern Nevada in 2020.

My Associates of Science degree prepared me to apply to the Nutrition Program at the University of Nevada- Las Vegas. I am currently a senior pursuing my bachelor's and masters in Nutrition Sciences. My academic goals are to graduate with honors, get accepted into the dietetic intership and masters program at UNLV, and pass the Registered Dietitian Licensing Exam.

My career goals are to gain experience from various work enviroments such as clinical, community, and policy. Ultimately, I would like to collaborate with other health professonals and open a wellness center in which I would be able to operate my own private practice.

I would also like to use my skills to help vulnerable populations that experience malnutriton here in the United States and other countries. My faith in God is very important to me and it gives me a desire to serve others with the skills that I have. One way I would like to serve my community would be by joining in missions along with other health professionals to help meet the needs of others.
