Julio Contreras

Hello everyone,

My name is Julio Contreras and I'm an upcoming Junior at Florida International University pursuing a double-major in Economics and Finance. I've been part of the Honors College at FIU since I enrolled back in Fall 2018. I've also been part of magnificent clubs and organizations such as the Alternative Investments Insight Group (AIIG), Club for Undergrad Economics Students (CUES), and the Venezuelan Student Alliance (VSA). I expect to graduate in Spring 2022 hopefully with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
In fall 2019 I started an 8-month internship at Banco Santander International. I worked at two different departments for 4 months and was able to gain significant experience in the Private Banking field. This experience made my interest in the baking industry grow and I expect to pursue a career in this field after graduation.
