Justina Jose

I am currently attending Lamar University and I am in a program, called Texas Academy of leadership in Humanities. This program is for gifted and talented Texas high school-aged students and provides college course, leadership opportunities, and volunteering opportunities. This program allowed me to combine my junior and senior year with my first two years of college. Therefore, I am a junior in high school that is a freshman in college. I took this opportunity to help higher my education and plan to continue a career in the Medical Field. My dream job would be to become a pediatrician because it combines my love for children and medicine. My interest include a combination of science, math, and art. I have numerous hobbies. I love volunteering and In the past have volunteered in hospitals, humane society, schools, and the beach. I love all kinds of books that range from fiction to nonfiction. I also pursued my love for singing by joining my church choir which I have been a member of for almost 3 years. I was blessed with an amazing family. I have two wonderful sisters and parents. I am also very church oriented; on my free time, you could find me in the church participating and helping in various organizations such as VBS (Vacation Bible School).
