About

I work full-time now in the Federal Government as a Human Resources Manager for NASA. I worked my way up in the federal government through self-study on my own and a lot of reading and hard work. I had been unable to attend college due to an alcoholic husband who had been sober when I met, married, and had a child with him. He started drinking and became violent when our son was one year old. My college dreams went out the window as a single parent. My son was diagnosed with ADHD, Opossitional Defiance Disorder (ODD), and later bipolar disorder. He was in the BD (behavior disordered) classroom his entire school career and was expelled in his junior year. I helped him get his GED and 2 years of Automotive Mechanical School at a Junior College. He got a girl pregnant, then I had to help raise my granddaughter who just turned 18 (she is Borderline Personality Disorder). I make a good salary, but am deeply in debt due to all of the bills with these children. My employer has told me that I am the only one in my position level without a college degree so they are requiring me to finish. However, I can barely make my household bills due to interest on prior charges to help my son and granddaughter.
