About
I am currently in the spring semester of my freshman year at the University of Georgia, majoring in cellular biology and minoring in animal science. I am a small town girl from Mount Olive, North Carolina exploring the classic city of Athens, Georgia for the next three years. I have a passion for sports, science, and stem cell research.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My ultimate goal is to work in the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill. I want to work in the Cairns lab, mainly dealing with skin grafts and stem cell research.
- Graduate school interests
I hope to attend medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Outside the classroom
I love sports, and I especially love attending all the sporting events here at the University of Georgia. From football, to swimming and diving, to gymnastics, I'll be there cheering on my fellow Dawgs. I am involved in intramural sports here at UGA. While volleyball is still my favorite, I decided to try something new and signed up for an intramural inner tube water polo team. It was a lot of fun, and surprisingly more challenging than I had anticipated.
