About

Leadership, adaptability, and self-discipline are all attributes that I was blessed to develop over time in the diverse countries in which I have resided as well as the opportunities that I have been provided as an international student. Due to these life-altering experiences, as a military dependent, it is often noted that my open-mindedness and maturity allow me to interact with various cultures differently than others would. These opportunities have increased my interest in international studies, relations, and politics - all of which I plan on pursuing in the fall at Rollins College.

Throughout the challenges of my high school years, including fifteen moves, being treated for major depression and anxiety, and being diagnosed Juvenile Rheumatiod Arhritis, I was motivated to achieve a respectable education while traveling the world. The activities I chose to partake in during high school and plan on continuing in undergraduate school, such as Model United Nations, Model United States Senate, and volunteer work shaped the goals I had as an individual concerning the international community. Whether it was working with Palestinian and Israeli children in the Middle East or debating over the Rohingya Crisis in MUN, I found a love in solving international problems and using these solutions to better people’s lives.
