Katherine Govern

I graduated from Pima Community College with my AGEC Degree in 2013 and am continuing my education currently at the University of Arizona South in their Elementary Education Program with an Early Childhood Endorsement. I come from a family of educators and have always dreamed of being a teacher. I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ; after graduating from Salpointe Catholic High School in 2002, I started working. After working for a while I decided to go back to school full time to make my dream come true. My philosophy for my future classroom is that a child’s success in my classroom is my number one priority. I know that every child learns differently, so I will be using a variety of different teaching styles to make sure they accomplish their academic goals.
