I'm Katherine, though some know me better as my camp name 'Dazzle'! I'm currently a grad student at the University of Washington. My areas of research interest include: the history of outdoor recreation, indigenous appropriation at American summer camps, narrative (Bakhtinian) theory in comparative literature studies, and modernist eco-feminist philosophy.
I have a background in large group facilitation, event planning, workshop development, outdoor education, summer camp operations, and creative non-fiction writing. I'm most passionate about creating youth-oriented brave spaces through performance, outdoor stewardship, and cross-cultural competency.
