Kathryn Steele

I grew up in Virginia and Alabama. I am a former military child, and once my parent retired from the military we settled in Madison, AL since he works near by at Redstone Arsenal. I have been involved in writing for my school's publication, Patriot Pages for the past 3 years. I have also taken Multi Media Publication for the past three years and have become certified in Adobe Premier. I am a member of the Key Club at my high school as well as being on my school's competition cheer teach which has a very rigorous practice schedule and prevents me from participating in other extra curricular activities. My future plans include attending college in Alabama, and being involved in publishing articles at the college of my choice. After graduation, I plan on becoming employed by news outlet and publish articles on topics assigned to me by my editor. I believe that journalism is important in notifying the readers of events/new so they can make informed decisions.
