Kawan Goncalves

I like to think of my professional goals it in three stages: short term (immediately after graduating), medium and long term (respectively 5 and 10 years after graduating). In the short term I plan to work in the field of sponsorship activation either on the club side in one of the 6 Major League teams or on the agency side in a sports marketing agency in the city of Chicago. As for the medium term, I envision myself moving upward in that organization and assuming a higher position as a director of business partnerships. Finally, in the long term I plan to take on an even bigger challenge, working for one of the 5 Major Leagues in the country at the senior management level.

Finally after accumulating a significant amount of experience, I intent to work in the position of a consultant in order to bring change for the Brazilian sports scenario.

I am currently taking the MBA program with a Sports Management concentration.

Sports is a given, considering my career path and current academic program. I enjoy watching most sports, soccer being favorite, with Football as very close second. One of the things that I like the most is seat on a sports restaurant and watch a multitude of simultaneous games.

In a complete opposite direction, I really enjoy comic books, specially the characters from DC Comics, so a good comic reading, movies or even animations permeate my heavenly sportive hobbies.
