About
My name is Kayla Longino. I grew up in Pflugerville Texas. I got a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology through Texas A&M University in 2016. I continued my education and got a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through UTMB in 2018. I have worked as a registered nurse for 5 years now. 2 of those years were on a medical surgical unit, and 3 years I have been on a labor & delivery unit. I decided I would like to pursue my master's to become a family nurse practitioner, so I am currently back in school at UTMB and will graduate in December of 2024.

After graduation with my Master's of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program, I would like to work in a family practice clinic as an FNP. I intended to work with patients of all ages from newborns to geriatrics patients. I love taking care of people and I am excited to continue my career in a new role as a family nurse practitioner.
