About
I am currently a sophomore at Arizona State University. My chosen major is Biological Sciences, with an emphasis on Biomedical Sciences. Biology and life has always interested me. I've worked in the medical field to some degree for over a decade, and it's a large part of why I went back to school at the age of 30 to finish my undergrad.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
To be perfectly honest, I'm not entirely sure what my intended job path is. I'm currently studying to get a degree in Biomedical Sciences because my thought was that I would stay in the medical field as a practitioner. However, now that I'm learning (on a personal basis) more about permaculture farming and gardening, I may switch my focus to ecology and agriculture-based biology.
- Graduate school interests
If I continue on a path towards the medical field, I would likely move into a Physician Assistant Master's program or Doctor of Pharmacy program. However, if I switch to Ecology/Agriculture/Conservation, I'm not sure I would attend Grad School. I would have to research more about what career options are available going that route.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include gardening/farming, painting, making candles, playing with my 6 dogs, reading, decorating, and generally learning new creative or sporty activities. I love being in nature, so I enjoy checking out local nature preserves. I am also a fan of eclectic art and music.
