About

I am the average small town girl with big dreams. I am the first one in my family that has walked across a college stage to recieve a diploma. I used to believe that I could never be successful because everyone around me wasn't. I battled many challenges in life and later found out that I was my own worst enemy. My life began to change for the better when I stopped blaming others for the events that occured in my life. Shortly after I found God, at the age of 13, my life began to fall into place. My self doubt faded away and my failure became the key to my success. I applied myself in school, got involved in sports (softball and cheerleading), held the same job for a few years, and found my passion; social work.

I am currently attending the University of Missouri-St. Louis for my Bachelors in Social Work. I am projected to graduate my program a year early (Dec 2017)! Hard work and dedication have been the two key factors to surviving my multiple 15-18 credit hours semesters. After graduation in December, I plan to continue my education and accomplish receiving my Masters in Social Work. My dedication to help others has blessed me with a position as a Child Care Woker at a Residential Treatment Facility. I would have never predicted that this is where I would be at the age of 22, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

"Nothing can stop God's plan for your life."--Isaiah 14:27
