About
I am currently a Spanish teacher who loves working with students to improve their language ability, cultural competency, and all-around good human being. In addition to teaching Spanish, I had the incredible opportunity to work first as a childhood literacy promoter for Peace Corps Dominican Republic. I also worked as a Literacy Support Specialist with Standard 1 (U.S. Grade 2) teachers in Belize with Peace Corps Response. I am currently teaching Spanish as a second language and Spanish for native speakers in the Madison Metropolitan School District.
My service with Peace Corps motivated me to begin my Master in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading License as well as a focused on Bilingual Education. I am currently studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
