Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to work in or help operate a clean, safe house for children who are experiencing instability, neglect, or unsafe living conditions. I want to provide an environment where children feel protected, supported, and cared for, while also connecting them with emotional, psychological, and community resources. My goal is to combine psychological knowledge with hands-on care to help children heal, grow, and regain a sense of security.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in attending graduate school to further my education in psychology, with a focus on child development, trauma-informed care, or counseling. Graduate training will allow me to gain advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to work effectively with at-risk children and families. Earning a graduate degree will help me qualify for leadership, clinical, or advocacy roles that align with my passion for child safety and mental health.

Outside the classroom

In my free time, I enjoy creative and hands-on activities such as crafting and fiber arts, which help me relax and stay focused. I also enjoy learning new skills, organizing projects, and engaging in activities that allow me to help others. These hobbies reflect my patience, creativity, and strong attention to detail—qualities that also support my academic and career goals.
