About

I am currently an Animal Science Major at Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas. I am in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M. I grew up in Willis, Texas all of my life. My mom is employed as an accountant for a CPA firm and my dad is involved in the printing business. I have a younger brother who is currently a junior in high school. I am involved in a couple of organizations at Texas A&M, including the Aggie Southern Darlings, which is a women's organization. Our organization focuses on three pillars, sisterhood, service, and southern hospitality. The other organization I am involved in is the Texas A&M Aggie Guide and Service Dogs. This organization trains puppies in Phase 1 of their training before they are sent to Phase 2 of service or guide training. I was recently accepted into two other honor society's. The two honor society's I have been accepted in are Phi Eta Sigma and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path after I graduate from Veterinary School, is to work for a Small Animal Veterinary Clinic to gain experience. After I work for another Veterinarian for a few years, I hope to open my own Small Animal Veterinary Clinic. Another intended job I would love to have is working with some kind of Animal Rescue team for marine animals.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in Professional School after I finish my Undergraduate degree. After I obtain my Undergraduate degree in Animal Science, I hope to be accepted into Veterinary School at Texas A&M University, in College Station.

Outside the classroom

Some of the general hobbies, I like are dancing, spending time with family and friends, attending church, and being outdoors.
