About

My name is Kendra, and I am passionate about furthering my education for one main reason: I realized I can!
Years of strife with an undiagnosed disability as a child, as well as chronic trauma caused my self esteem to plummet due to my poor outlook and drive. For years I have been working not only towards my educational future, but my emotional well-being and growth. Through therapy I have since realized my potential. I am learning the way my brain works differently than others, and it's given me the insight into how I can navigate this world.

Since building the courage to start school, I have surpassed all expectations of myself. I have excelled, dedicated all my time and energy into my education, and I am so proud to say that I not only can and will do it, but I HAVE done it!

I want my life to forever be focused on learning, self improvement, and growth.

Thank you for reading.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My plan is to give back to the animals that helped me through my traumatic childhood - by taking care of them the way they did for me. I am currently working on my CVT, but also hoping to advance further in the field.

Pathology interests me greatly, and I hope to be able to work in clinical pathology labs that work to create cures for diseases that I see in my day to day.

Graduate school interests

Clinical pathology, anesthesia, and diagnostic imaging are all very high potential grad school focuses.

Outside the classroom

Animal rescue, woodworking, hiking, writing.
