About
My name is Kennedy J. Gaines, I was born and raised in Opelousas, La. I attended Lawtell Elemetary later carrying my education to Northwest High School. During my time at NWHS I marched in the NWHS Marching Raider Band as well as being apart of the Raider Track and Field team throwing shotput. I also was voted as Ms.Junior 25-26 during the homecoming season. Not only that, I was also apart of the National Honor Society and Senior Beta Club, but I was also able to accomplish one most important thing; graduating. I graduated one year early ranking 11/117 students with magna cum laude showing my dedication and determination I carry with me not only inside the classroom, but in my everyday life.

Some of my favorite hobbies include participating in the NWSH Marching Band, track and field, painting, and listening to music. Being involved in marching band has helped me develop teamwork, discipline, and dedication while allowing me to express myself through music and performance. Track and field has taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and pushing myself to achieve my goals. I also enjoy painting because it gives me a creative outlet where I can relax and express my emotions and ideas. In my free time, I love listening to music because it helps me stay motivated, focused, and inspired. These hobbies have played an important role in shaping my personality and helping me grow both creatively and personally.
