Kevin Hazlett

I'm currently a student at Oregon State University with hopes to graduate by winter term, 2016. My studies have been delayed due to financial aid issues, so I have had to take time off to save money.

I am majoring in Managerial Economics with a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship. I'm about to turn 38 this year and have gotten off to a late start regarding schooling. However, I have been the owner of two successful businesses. My first was a computer store where we built custom computers and made repairs to hardware and software. That business was cut short by a back injury and a failed surgery.

My second business was a mold remediation and inspection company. After 7 successful years, the 2008 financial crisis cut things short. During that time I was the Director of Operations for another mold conpany and the Director of Technology and Development for a non-profit organization. I developed training programs in mold inspection and remediation that at are still being taught today.

After these failures, I decided to go back to school. While I love being an entrepreneur, I think my skills would be best used by an established company.
