About
My name is Kiara Jones. I am 18 years old and am currently a senior in high school. I am an early admission student, so while I am enrolled at West Broward High School, I am a full time student at Broward College. I have been taking classes at Broward College since my sophomore year and have earned over 40 credits. In the Fall semester of 2019, I was honored to be on the Dean's List. I am extremely excited to say that I will be attending the University of Alabama for the Fall 2020 semester for my freshman year of college. There I will spend the next 2-3 years obtaining my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Multiple Abilities Program certification. I will be minoring in Business or Entrepreneurship so that I can open my own school in the future. I am looking forward to going through my education programs while getting hands on experience in classrooms.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to be a elementary school teacher, specifically for Pre-K or Kindergarten. I also will be certified in special education, so I will be able to work in that field as well. After a few years of teaching, I would like to open my own private school and teach there.
- Graduate school interests
I do have an interest in getting my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and possibly Business as well.
- Outside the classroom
My favorite thing to do is cheer-leading, both school sideline and competitive, as well as all-star cheerleading.
