About
I have grown up in Sulphur my whole life. While living and attending Sulphur Public Schools, I have become very involved in our FFA chapter. I am the President of the chapter, and my duties require me to help our FFA advisor lead my younger peers into a brighter future within the FFA. I help organize and encourage students to participate in any and every FFA activity available. On top of being the FFA President, I have a barn full of show sheep myself. I start my day around 6 a.m. to get up and feed my sheep. I recently started my internship with the Arbuckle Veterinary Clinic. I arrive there four days a week at 7:50. Before I started this internship, I would get up and track and work with my sheep every day before school. After I get out of my internship, I head to school. Once I get out of school, I head home to feed cows. I feed around 180 head of momma cows for my father. This usually takes around three hours to complete. By the time I am done, it is time to feed sheep. After I feed sheep, I come home and get any other chores and homework I have done. Once it cools off, I head back to the barn to work my sheep. I currently have thirteen head of show lambs. I exercise and track them. This usually lasts into the night. I get back home, take a shower, and go to bed to do it all again the next day. On top of everything going on, I am a concurrent student at Murray State College in Tishomingo. All my life I have maintained at least a 3.75 GPA. My current GPA is a 3.91. Ever since I was a little girl, my dreams for helping animals as a veterinarian sparked. I am planning to attend Murray State College after I graduate. From there I plan to attend Oklahoma State College to finish my schooling going on to become a veterinarian
