Kristian Gellibert

My name is Kristian Gellibert and I am a St. Thomas University elementary education major. I am a recipient if two dean's list awards and one Presidents Honor roll award. I am also nominated for an academic achievement award and the leader of life award. I am also in the process of putting together this massive fundraiser to benefit a low performing school to reinstate their music program. I believe students need music as part of their regular curriculum. My dream is to teach elementary school students and show them that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. My parents are immigrants from another country, and struggled to make ends meet. They always made sure my and my brother were taken care of. I would be a great fit for the honor society because I am a testament that anything is possible. While going to school I worked 40 plus hrs., had two children and had to make sure I gave time to my family. It has been the hardest four years of my life, but I wouldn't change it for anything else. I would love to be part of the honor society so that I can give hope to those that think it can't be done.
