About
I’m a 24-year-old happily married woman from western Pennsylvania with a strong passion for service and community care. I proudly serve as a volunteer firefighter, where I can respond to emergencies and support others during critical moments. In addition, I’m a CRS-certified recovery specialist, helping individuals navigate challenges and find pathways toward healing and stability.
I love being outdoors and staying active—whether it’s hiking scenic trails or relaxing while river tubing, I appreciate any chance to connect with nature. These activities help me recharge so I can continue showing up for others.
What drives me most is making a meaningful difference in my community. I’m deeply passionate about identifying and closing resource gaps, ensuring people have access to the support and services they need. I value compassion, resilience, and teamwork, and I strive to use my skills and experiences to uplift those around me and create stronger, more connected communities.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career goal is to establish a drop-in center in my town that offers a safe and welcoming space for youth to engage in positive activities. Additionally, this center will provide recovery support and resources for adults. I aim to bridge gaps in services and foster a stronger, healthier community for everyone.
To achieve this goal, I plan to earn both my bachelor's and master's degrees in public health. I also intend to continue enhancing my certifications in recovery and peer support to better assist individuals facing challenges and provide meaningful guidance and care.
- Outside the classroom
I truly enjoy serving as a volunteer firefighter in my rural, small community, where I can make a direct impact and be there for my neighbors in times of need. It’s incredibly meaningful to be part of a team that people rely on during emergencies, and it has strengthened my sense of purpose and connection to my community.
In addition, I volunteer on a support board focused on the fight against drug overdose. Being involved in this effort allows me to advocate for prevention, support recovery, and help bring awareness to an issue that deeply affects many families and communities.
Outside of my service work, I enjoy spending time in nature. Gardening is one of my favorite ways to relax and feel accomplished, and I also love hiking and exploring the outdoors whenever I can. These activities help me stay grounded and balanced while continuing to give back to others.
