Ever since I caught a glimpse of higher education while attending Paw Paw Middle School in Paw Paw, MI 49079, I realized that education had a higher meaning than what my most frequent peers cared in their own work. Accounting with the last two trimesters of my senior year of high school at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, MI 49508, I received a 3.76 GPA that was due in large part to self-directed study, convincing assertiveness, and my will to be better than those around me who simply thought school was ridiculous.
With college, I had to pace myself while dealing with anxiety and loss. At the University of Phoenix, I received several grades upward of a score of 3.5, although a difficult living arrangement with my landlord conflicted at times and brought my yearly GPA down to 3.05 at the end of that year.
At Baker College, I paced myself again. I made the Dean's list after the Winter 2016 semester with a 3.6 GPA, but I decided to increase my workload the following semester while pursuing a long-term volunteer project. This dropped my GPA at Baker College to 2.95 since I overstretched my abilities.
I am re-enrolling at the University of Phoenix and set to attend in January 2017.
