About
My name is Lauren Merrill and I am a very enthusiastic journalism, communications major at Appalachian State University! I am a freshman but have a lot under my belt already. I have experience writing for a newspaper, designing layouts, photographing and was the social media editor for the paper as well. Now that I am in college I am trying to jump start my career and have done so by becoming the co-vice president of the Society of Professional Journalists at App State. I love journalism and cannot wait to enhance my skills and learn more!
