About
My name is Leikney Easterling. I am a 35 year old mother of three who is currently in my final semester of an LVN to RN transition program at Alvin Community College in Texas. My interest in nursing began with a combat life saving course in the U.S Army in 2005 and only continued to blossom from there. After several years of providing individuals relief through massage therapy, I sought the knowledge and skill for a more holistic approach to treating them. This desire set me on a path in pursuit of a nursing degree. It hasn't necessarily been the straightest or fastest path, but I continue to enjoy the journey and am excited for the opportunities to further help others.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to provide care for the public by practicing bedside nursing in the hospital setting, working in the emergency department or the intensive care unit. In addition to honing my skills, I will further my education pursuing a bachelor degree in nursing. Once I have completed my BSN, I endeavor to obtain a position as a flight nurse.

I enjoy DIY crafting projects, crocheting, and exploring nature.
