Field Engineer at Schlumberger
Schlumberger • Directed all drilling fluid activities as the sole Schlumberger representative on location. Led 15 third-party personnel and 2-solids control personnel to accomplish operations while mitigating risks • Decreased project costs $1.1M USD/year by optimizing processes in high-speed centrifuges and minimizing chemical loss • Utilized creative solutions and teamwork to solve complex problems – I improved operations by adding a mixing reactor to avoid losses of $3,200 USD/hr while reducing safety risks with less direct contact between personnel and chemicals • Chevron representatives and superintendent requested I work on all their future projects as their project engineer • Due to savings and service quality I provided, SLB won contracts with Chevron and I was promoted twice in 2 years
