About
I am a registered nurse. I am a mother of 2 kids and a wonderful husband. I have an excellent GPA. I am a Hispanic female, and I am fluent in Spanish.
I have 15 years of nursing experience. I began as an LVN in 2000. I worked on a neurology floor and frequently floated to medical surgical and ICU. I obtained my RN degree in 2007. I have worked the medical-surgical unit, intermediate critical care, emergency department, and perioperative care. I plan to complete the leadership role by August 2016 then complete my practicum starting the Fall of 2016 at Walden University.
My plan is to have the best professional background and experience to serve my community to the best of my ability and with a caring attitude. My goal is to provide excellent patient-centered care with each and every patient and their families.
I believe that excellent care begins with an experienced background and evidence-based knowledge.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My plan is to complete a strong background in leadership skills geared towards adult-gerontology care. Due to technology and medical advancement, patients are living longer and require a higher level of care.
- Graduate school interests
I am currently working towards my Masters in Nursing-Leadership and Management. Then, I would like to complete the Nurse Practitioner-Adult Gerontology program. It will be an additional year of study after the leadership management program.
Our community will require experienced and knowledgeable providers to meet the demands of our patients. I want to be fully prepared to meet our patient's medical and holistic needs. Leadership skills will allow me to interact with other departments and management figures to advocate for my patient's needs.- Outside the classroom
