About

My name is Lizbeth Jaimes-lopez. I was born in Salisbury, NC and grew up in a small town called Spencer in Rowan County, NC. I am Mexican-American, born in an immigrant family. I am kind, outgoing, and determined. I love to eat pizza and enjoy spending my time with family and friends. I earned my associate degree in arts from Rowan Cabarrus Community College and I am currently a junior/transfar student at the Univerity of North Carolina at Greensboro. My interests in human behavior and passion for helping and working with people have drivin me to work towards a Psychology major and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. The vision I have and the goals I’ve set for myself corresponds with my field of study and my values. After graduate school, I vision myself as a Clinical Psychologist working in a mental health facility helping individuals improve their daily life. I vision myself working with people from different backgrounds who are suffering from a mental disorder like depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
