About
Hi! My name is Logan Bayless, I am a incoming freshman at UNT, although I managed to graduate high school with 28 hours of college credit. I am one of those people who would go out of their way even for a complete stranger, even at a cost to myself. I am, in essence, a jack of all trades. I am good at many varied activities and knowledgable of many different subjects, but I would say I am not the best in any of them. Though I have been honing my skills regarding cooking and coding. I do my best to always be happy, and you can almost always find me making dumb jokes or laughing at the dumbest of things, this is because I had a hard childhood with my parents divorcing when I was young, and then my mother struggling with earning enough money to support and provide for me and my 2 sisters, followed by my mother remarrying a man who physically abused her, and mentally abused the rest of us.. I don't say that to garner pity, I do not want that, what I do want though is for others to know that you may have a horrible past, it could be worse than mine.. But if you try you can always find happiness, you just need to take that first step and try.
And that's me, Logan Bayless!

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended Job Path is to hopefully find a job within a major gaming company such as Unreal, Arkane, or Sucker Punch, and to be able to create and generate my own unique and wonderful worlds that hundreds upon thousands of people would one day be able to enjoy and take part in. Other than that I also have ideas of becoming a high school calculus / algebra teacher in case my primary job ideal does not come to fruition.
- Graduate school interests
I have considered the idea of going to grad school to earn my masters again in mathematics, but would like to see where I am at after earning my bachelors before committing to anything else.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include, but are not limited to: Drawing, designing tattoos, cooking, reading, painting, coding, lapidary, woodworking, laying guitar and piano, playing video games, swimming, running, working out, exploring... Pretty much any form of crafting as well as any physical activity (besides basketball!) I am more than happy to do or try!
The most recent of these crafts is Lapidary, the carving of gems and stones. It piqued my interest as I had a quote I wished to engrave on an amethyst as a birthday gift for a very close friend of mine, and I found I am quite good at it!
My favorite of these hobbies is definitely Cooking. During my time in High School, I participated in our culinary program, and ended up being personally trained by two professional chefs, cooking is my favorite because I love seeing the smiles on people's faces as they eat something made by me and are astounded at its quality.
