Luwam Yishak

Hi! My name is Luwam and I am a rising junior from Maryland majoring in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Economics on the Pre-Dental track. I am passionate about helping others and science rooted work. I attend the University of Pittsburgh where I serve as the Student Government Board's Allocations Committee Liaison, the Vice President for Ethiopian and Eritrean Student Association, and Secretary for the Undergraduate Student National Dental Association. I am thrilled to be a part of contributing to the student campus experience at Pitt and cultivating community on campus to ensure all students feel welcomed. In my free time I like to cook and try new foods, spend time with friends and go to the gym!
