Lyn Marube

I am a high school senior at Apex Friendship High School in North Carolina. I lived in Kenya my whole life. I came to America about a year ago and have basically hit the ground running. Back in Kenya, I took on many leadership roles such as being the head girl of my primary school in 2020, assistant class prefect in 2021 along with being the Vice President of the Model United Nations club, the founder and captain of the tennis team and the overall official in my dorm in 2022. When I came to America, I became a member of the student council at Apex High School during my junior year, then when I got to Apex Friendship High School for my senior year, I joined the varsity tennis team, varsity swim team, speech and debate club, and theatre club. I also took dual enrollment classes at Wake Technical Community College during my junior and senior years. I have always made sure to do my best in all my classes and keep my grades high.
