About
I’m Malaya Ramsey, a 16 year old upcoming junior at The School At Marygrove. Born on July 23rd, I’m passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and I aspire to become a nurse practitioner. I’m inspired by the life changing work of people who have made real impact , especially in the medical field. Their dedication fuels my own dreams to help and heal others. Guided by faith , I live by the word of the Bible especially Colossians 3:23 “whatever you do , work at it with all your heart, as working for the lord , not for human masters”. I’m committed to academic excellence and so much more I’m willing to make a way out of no way.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I’m working in retail as of currently just to have money in my pockets and start building working experience. I’m only 16 , so I know this is just the beginning. My long -term goal is to work in the medical field starting by getting qualified to work in a hospital setting. After high school , I plan to major in nursing, to become a registered nurse and eventually work my way up to becoming a nurse practitioner. This path allows me to help people in a meaningful way and truly make a difference.
- Graduate school interests
Yes , my goal is to attend grad school to earn a master of science in nursing (MSN). That will allow me to become a nurse practitioner and take my medical career to the next level.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time , I really enjoy cleaning , listening to music , I try to journal sometimes and read but I mostly watch shows like scandal or htgawm or even grey’s anatomy. I also like learning new things , especially anything related to health and the human body.
