MALINDA PAULS

Extremely hard-working first-generation college student. I am a full-time undergraduate student at Strayer University. I am also a junior, and my program is Information Technology Cybersecurity. I belong to five Honor Societies listed in my profile and obtained certificates for them. I also have an IT Pro Certificate, and there will be more. My GPA is 4.00 on a 4.0 scale, which has qualified me for the President's List for Strayer University over six times. I also received an Honor Roll certificate once and over eighteen micro-credentials. The micro-credentials are Python Programming, Criminal Justice Investigations, Crime Detection and Prevention Basics, Peer Mentor Peer, Stress Management, et cetera.
I aim to continue receiving President's List awards for a 4.0 GPA. My ultimate goal is to graduate summa cum laude. A Latin phrase that means "with the highest praise". It is the highest of three academic honors recognized in the United States and some other countries. Depending on the institution, it is typically awarded to graduates in the top 5% of their class. I have also spoken with recruiters of the JWMI MBA program for Strayer University. It's a Harvard-reviewed business program. I have researched other master's programs at Strayer University and am interested in the MS in Science program. I will consider my potential career path more as I complete my BS in Science.
I have overcome countless odds, all while facing hardships. I would love to continue to break barriers and negative stereotypes. I see myself being able to work in any tech-related field. I would also love to become an entrepreneur, offering a service or product that changes the world. One day, I hope to be able to provide scholarships to others. I have considerable debt for pursuing my dreams, but I couldn't see my life without goals. In conclusion, education is worth it, and I plan to put it forward for those who assist me with my future posts. Thank you for your consideration and time.
