About

Starting in elementary, all the way until my recent high school graduation, I’ve had the privilege of receiving multiple honors. For example, at the end of my fifth grade year, as I was graduating from elementary and passing on to middle school, I received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence in Recognition of Outstanding Academic Achievement. Then, throughout my middle school years, I received the President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Recognition of Outstanding Academic Excellence three years in a row, at the end of each of my middle school years. During these years, I also received multiple awards for Outstanding Achievement in various subjects including Drama, Algebra II, Social Studies, Language Arts, Spanish, and Science. One of my proudest achievements is receiving the “Tony Award for Most Outstanding Middle School Student” at the end of my eighth-grade year, which is only given to one student in middle school. Then, in high school I received three President’s Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Recognition of Outstanding Academic Excellence in tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade, along with Certificates of Outstanding Achievement in Drama, Seminar, Biology, Literature From Spain, and Service. Moreover, I have been an officer and member of both the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and the National Honor Society (NHS) at my school. Most recently, I graduated high school with the Magna Cum Laude honor. Besides academic awards, I have also received awards in other aspects such as sports and drama. For instance, I received the “Most Spirited” player award for soccer and won all gold, silver, and gold medals in the DRAMA Association of American Schools of Central America FESTIVAL, which is an international competition between schools in Central America in Drama, and the competition includes monologues, short scenes, improvisation, and a one-act play.
