About
am a proud Haitian American who has been working as a Medical Assistant for five years. I served through the COVID pandemic, gaining valuable experience and building strong skills in patient care, communication, and teamwork. Along with my medical background, I also work part-time as a paraprofessional supporting individuals with mental health needs. This role has helped me grow in patience, understanding, and compassion for people facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
I am currently attending school for Health Care Management because I want to continue growing in the medical field and take on leadership roles in the future. My goal is to combine my clinical experience with management skills so I can help improve patient services and support healthcare teams more effectively.
On weekends, I focus on balancing work, school, and self-care. I often spend my time studying, preparing for the week, and reflecting on my career goals. My background, dedication, and passion for helping others guide everything I do.

I hope to work in a setting where I can make a positive impact on patients, staff, and the overall quality of care.
My career path is focused on growing within the healthcare field, building strong professional skills, and creating a future where I can lead, support, and inspire others in medical and mental health environments.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests focus on developing the skills needed to lead and manage healthcare programs. I am interested in healthcare operations, policy, mental health services, and community-based care. My long-term goal is to work in a leadership role where I can support both patients and staff, improve access to care, and help create safer, more effective healthcare environments.
Experience
-
medical assistant
five years of experience working as a Medical Assistant, including serving throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. My work during that time strengthened my dedication to patient care, teamwork, and supporting communities in times of need. Alongside my medical assistant role, I currently work part-time as a paraprofessional in mental health, where I support clients with their daily needs, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
