Marilyn Lopez

I am currently a Health Care Management student at Rollins College, my goal is to complete my studies in the health care field and use my previous training as an LMT to expand my ability in helping patients reach their goal of health and well-being. I have dedicated the first part of my life to being a loving mother while providing a safe and supportive environment for my children to develop in, this experience has proven to be one of my strongest assets. I have realized that helping others to succeed is my passion and through the program at Rollins College, I have been exposed to multiple opportunities in which to explore my abilities and strengths along the way. I have participated in SPARC Day 2016(Service, Passion, Action, Rollins College), and donated my time and service for the Eco Rollins club which I have also been a part of on campus. I volunteered my service for the 27th Annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities, and most recently, I assisted in creating and coordinating a campaign against smoking and vaping on campus, bringing awareness to the students and faculty of the negative effects of e-cigarettes and tobacco. I strive to make a difference in the health and well-being of the community in as many ways as I can.
