My goal is to become a librarian and literacy advocate, creating inclusive spaces that encourage a lifelong love of reading. I also plan to continue expanding my nonprofit, Rhett’s Love, to reach more families in need of comfort and community.

I plan to attend graduate school in Library and Information Science or Education, focusing on literacy development, child engagement, and community outreach. My goal is to design programs that build confidence in young readers, especially those who struggle with learning differences like dyslexia.

Reading & Writing – Especially stories that inspire hope, healing, and courage. You love writing both adult fiction (like A Million Promises) and children’s books (like Angel Skies and You Are My Rainbow).

Music & Songwriting – You write heartfelt country and Christian songs that reflect your faith, emotions, and life experiences.

Library & Literacy Outreach – You enjoy creating programs that help children build confidence in reading and writing, often inspired by your own journey with dyslexia.

Art & Design – You have a natural eye for watercolor and soft, meaningful visuals, which show up in your book illustrations and nonprofit designs.

Community Service – Through Rhett’s Love, you find deep purpose in making and delivering comfort boxes for grieving families.

Faith & Reflection – You find strength in your faith and often express it through poetry, journaling, and prayer.

Farm & Family Life – You enjoy time with your husband, daughter Selah, and your animals (especially your Selah’s Silkies chickens and ducks).

Nature & Photography – You love the outdoors, taking photos, and finding beauty in simple, everyday moments.
