About
I started my college career out of high school in 2008 at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. After two years, I transferred to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to be closer to family and work the family business while going to school. After three years the family business was struggling and I was asked to work full time and finish school later. After two years, the business is stable and I decided to attend the online campus of Oregon State University to finish my degree.

- Career goal
Currently I live in Omaha Nebraska, and I have been employed as a foreman in a construction company for ten years. Upon graduation I intend to pursue a career as an ecologist or a conservation scientist in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. My passion is spending time in the mountains, and I would consider it a dream come true to spend my career working with nature in the mountains.
- Outside the classroom
I play many sports such as hockey, sand volleyball, and flag football. I have a passion for mountain sports such as snowboarding and backpacking. I enjoy lifting weights and working out, as a healthy lifestyle is very important to me. I recently started oil painting, and found that I have a true passion for it. Since I was of a very young age, one of my first hobbies was fishing, and I continue to fish every chance I get.
