Matthew Sharkey

I am studying at Bergen Community College and though I have not declared a major I now know that I will be declaring myself a Film and Multi Media Major. I am presently applying to study abroad in Florence, It. next Sept. I would consider myself privileged to study Film in Italy, a country which has produced some of the greatest films, directors and actors in the history of the Cinema. I live at home and know I am lucky and feel grateful to live with both of my parents and my older brother; I have two older sisters who are college graduates and out on their own. I would describe my High School experience as challenging due to health issues but I would describe myself as tenacious and determined. I never have let any health issues get in the way of my dreams; I consider them learning experiences.
