About
I am currently 23 years old and have been dedicated to the nursing field from an early stage in my education. While in high school, I completed a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program through a career and technology center, which provided me with a strong foundation in patient care. Since 2022, I have been working on a medical-surgical unit, where I have gained valuable hands-on experience and further developed my clinical skills and passion for nursing.
Through these experiences, I have built a deeper understanding of patient care, teamwork, and the responsibilities of healthcare professionals. This has motivated me to continue advancing my education. I am currently attending Ohio University Zanesville to pursue my Registered Nurse (RN) license, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026.
My journey so far reflects my commitment, work ethic, and genuine passion for nursing, and I am eager to continue growing both personally and professionally in this field.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career path is to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and continue building on my current experience in the medical-surgical setting. After obtaining my RN license, I plan to work in a hospital environment where I can further develop my clinical skills, critical thinking, and ability to provide high-quality patient care.
Long-term, I am interested in continuing my education to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and potentially pursue a specialty area such as critical care, emergency nursing, or maternal-newborn nursing. My overall goal is to grow into a knowledgeable, compassionate nurse who can make a meaningful impact on patients and their families while continuing to advance professionally.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, which helps me maintain both physical and mental well-being. I value spending quality time with family and friends, as it keeps me grounded and supports a healthy work-life balance. I also have a strong connection to farming, which has taught me responsibility, discipline, and the importance of hard work.
